Why you should vote “YES” on Prop 207 in Arizona

What is Prop 207?

Proposition 207 would allow adults over 21 to possess 1 ounce of marijuana, with no more than 5 grams being marijuana concentrate. Each adult would also be permitted to have six plants in their home.

Prop 207 will also decriminalize and amend criminal penalties for marijuana possession.

Funding

Prop 207 generates $300 million annually in new tax revenue and to fund community colleges, public safety, public health programs, and roads and highways.

It also provides equipment funding and safety training for police on handling DUI stops and charges.

Taxation

There is NO change in taxation if patients maintain their medical certification. Recreational and medical dispensaries will operate separately, and customers will find that they will have a cheaper, wider selection of products if they obtain their medical card.
